What is it about European Corvettes? They're so menacing. An American version of this Z06 would remind me of a tire-smoldering weekend at the track, or a bit of hooning between the stoplights. When I look at this "Wallpaper Wednesday" car, I see a Corvette that looks like it just chased an innocent Ford Fiesta through a British shopping mall.
It looks like the wait for that new Stingray you ordered could get a little longer if officials at the Corvette plant can’t come to a resolution on some issues. Members of the UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers who assemble the new Stingray at the Kentucky plant, have voted to authorize a strike over complaints of mistreatment, safety concerns and a few other issues, according to news reports.

I’m not sure if you've had a chance to catch the new Captain America movie yet, which features the Black Widow driving a C7, but it’s certainly worth that 3D ticket price ... and those expensive snacks at the theater that border on legalized extortion. In fact, my only real complaint is that the all-black Corvette driven by Scarlett Johansson who stars as the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in the film, didn't get more screen time with the actress.

I've always found the Mercedes-Benz G-Class to be an attractive vehicle; its lines are straight and unapologetic. Under those butch right-angles is hardcore suspension hardware and apocalypse-proof rubber. The rig looks even better with some dirt splattered on it ... downright beautiful as you'll see in the clip after the jump.
