Audi reported that its July 2014 sales increased 11.9% to 14,616 vehicles, a total that stands as the 43rd consecutive month of record monthly U.S. sales for the brand. Audi U.S. sales year-to-date increased 13.3% to 98,965 vehicles

Despite challenging conditions and a record investment program, Audi delivered a convincing performance in the first half of 2014 with solid key figures. In the period of January through June, the Ingolstadt-based carmaker set a new record with deliveries of 869,355 Audi vehicles. The Audi Group posted first-half revenue of € 26.7 billion and operating profit of € 2.7 billion. In the first six months of this year, the company achieved an operating return on sales of 10.0 percent and was thus at the upper end of its strategic target corridor of eight to ten percent

The Audi Q3 combines coupe-like design with the utility of an SUV, offering an excellent balance of agility and functionality. It features a standard 200 horsepower 2.0 liter TFSI® engine with a six-speed Tiptronic® transmission. The Q3 joins the highly successful Q5 and Q7 Audi SUV line-up and will go on sale this fall

The first plug-in hybrid from Audi, the A3 Sportback e-tron*, is now available to order for customers in Europe. Approximately 410 Audi dealers in Europe – including no fewer than 105 in Germany – are selling the A3 e-tron on the German market at a basic price of 37,900 euros

Audi has won the world’s toughest GT3 race at Spa. In the battle of eleven marques and 60 participants, the R8 LMS ultra prevailed for the third time in four years in the classic race in the Ardennes that celebrated its 90th anniversary this year. The Belgian Audi Club Team WRT took victory in its home round with the driver trio Laurens Vanthoor/René Rast/Markus Winkelhock (B/D/D). Rast and Winkelhock had previously achieved victory with Audi at the Nürburgring together with two other team-mates
