The Mercedes-Benz Museum is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the epic journey of Bertha Benz using the Benz Patent-Motorwagen Type III. The Berta Benz Days at the museum will be from August 2 to August 4, wherein guided tours will highlight this pioneer in the automotive industry. The journey of Bertha Benz, who was joined by her sons, started in Mannheim and ended in Pforzheim.

Daimler head Dieter Zetsche revealed recently that one new model of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is set to compete with the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Zetsche made the revelation when he was interviewed by Autocar. He indicated that the new S-Class was developed to increase the reach of the company in the luxury car market.
